Since coming back from Norway, I haven’t been able to travel far or wide to capture what is in my imagination. I am overwhelmed by a number of ideas and must contend with the fact that I am currently unable to explore as much as I’d like. So I like to escape to the White Mountains and drive country roads, albeit alone.
It can be scary doing anything alone. But, as the title of my blog suggests, I do the majority of my hobbies alone, whether that is creating some cool bullet journal spreads or writing poetry and photographing landscapes (with the occasional self-portrait session in between). Sometimes I also let that moment pass. I do not stop to photograph everything in sight.

I travel to Maine every September to camp and hike with my dog, Yoshi. I write about it now and then. I do stop for photos constantly 🙂
Great blog!

Thank you Will! I actually slowed down the group when we just did a day trip. I definitely don’t like the crowds. I miss how open Norway is for exploration, but even then I was cautious hiking in the mountains.

That’s what I love about Maine – the solitude of the forest and the serenity of the ponds and lakes. My favorite hike is Old Speck in Grafton Notch, just across the border from NH.
